Sending a Deck to ScryDuel Practice

How ScryBrew decks flow into ScryDuel practice, what Match History means, and how saved practice data stays clean.

Sending a Deck to ScryDuel Practice

ScryBrew and ScryDuel are separate products over shared account and deck context. ScryBrew is where you build the deck. ScryDuel is where you practice with it.

Sending A Deck

ScryBrew deck detail can open a deck in ScryDuel for practice, and ScryDuel can send a user back to build in ScryBrew. The handoff should preserve identity and deck context without making ScryBrew responsible for ScryDuel's future gameplay system.

If a deck cannot load, ScryDuel should explain the problem and keep the sample deck available rather than pretending the user's deck is active.

The Pit And Match History

The Pit is where open Practice rooms live. A room can be open, waiting for a deck, waiting for another player, or still being set up.

Match History is different. It is for sessions worth looking back on. A blank room should not count as history just because it was opened. ScryDuel only treats a room as history when it has real practice activity, saved table state, saved actions, or a clear closed session.

That means test rooms and empty room shells should stay out of Match History. If you open the same blank default Practice room again, ScryDuel should reuse the open room instead of creating a new empty one every time.

What Gets Saved

ScryDuel Practice can save hosted rooms, joined players, the current table state, recent table actions, and trainer reports. Saved reports are different from table actions: reports are summaries you may want to read later, while table actions are the steps that happened during play.

ScryBrew and ScryDuel keep limits on saved practice data so accounts do not fill up with endless old test rooms, reports, or actions. Practice accounts can keep a useful history, but old extra records should be cleaned up or capped before they become clutter.

Practice Tiers

The Pit baseline/basic goldfish stays playable for exploration. ScryDuel Practice adds paid hosted rooms, invites, saved table state, Match History, practical play analytics, and saved trainer reports where implemented. ScryDuel Mastery is the deeper training tier with AI enemies, replay review, matchup prep, and training-plan direction as those services are validated.

Current Safety Rules

Blank Practice rooms should not appear as real matches. Saved reports and calculator scenarios have account limits. Practice table actions and saved table state have size limits. Finance watchlists also have a card limit.

Before broad Practice launch, ScryDuel still needs a trusted cleanup job for expired bridge links, stale empty rooms, and old operational practice data. That cleanup should run on the server side, not from a public button.
