Mana Base Calculator
Use source counts and pip pressure to check whether your deck can cast its spells.
Mana Base Calculator
The mana base calculator helps answer the most common deck-building question: can this deck cast its spells on time?
What It Looks At
A useful mana check compares land count, color sources, pip pressure, curve, tapped lands, ramp, and splash colors. A deck with enough lands can still get color-screwed if the sources do not match the spells.
How To Read Warnings
A source warning means the deck may miss a color when it needs it. A curve warning means the deck may spend early turns doing nothing. A splash warning means the extra color is possible, but risky.
What To Change
Fix the mana base before blaming the whole deck. Add sources for the color you are missing, lower early pip pressure, trim greedy splashes, or adjust land count to match the curve.
