Importing Your Collection

Bring existing card and deck data into ScryBrew without retyping every card.

Importing Your Collection

Import is the fastest way to turn an existing card list, deck export, or saved file into cards ScryBrew can use.

Supported Inputs

The current import area supports pasted deck text, local text and CSV uploads, MTGO .dek XML, screenshots and images with OCR review, PDF extraction through the PDF2TEXT-backed flow, Moxfield URLs, and Archidekt URLs when the source can be resolved.

You can import into your collection or into an existing deck. The review step groups cards by mainboard, sideboard, commander, maybeboard, or collection section. It shows clean matches, possible matches, and cards ScryBrew could not identify so you can fix or drop them before saving.

Owned, Ordered, And Exact Printing

Imported cards are useful for brewing right away, but a name-only import does not prove the exact physical printing is in hand.

Exact printing is strongest when the source includes set code and collector number. If the source only names a card, ScryBrew can still use it for deck building, but scanning or manual printing review is the safer path before you rely on it for finance, sales, trades, or exact collection records.
