Finance Vault and Collection Records
Financials helps players separate card value from money history. Those are related, but they are not the same thing.
Collection Value
Collection value answers what cards may be worth right now based on available price data. It can change quickly and may not reflect fees, shipping, condition, language, foil status, or actual buyer demand.
Money History
Money history answers what you paid, traded, received, allocated, listed, sold, or held. A card can be valuable without having a recorded acquisition cost, and a sale record can be accurate even if today's market price has changed.
Current Product Shape
The Finance route, Finance Vault widget grid, first acquisition-event modal, summary widgets, premium records API, and premium watchlist API exist in code. Paid users see service-status checks for the finance record path.
Premium Boundary
Persistent finance records and watchlists are premium features. Basic collection-value concepts and explanations stay understandable for everyone.
