Owned, Ordered, and Confirmed Cards
Understand how ScryBrew treats imported cards, scanned cards, orders, and physically confirmed cards.
Owned, Ordered, and Confirmed Cards
ScryBrew is intentionally honest about collection certainty. A card can be useful for brewing before it is proven as an exact physical printing.
Added Cards
An added card is a card you put into ScryBrew by import, scan, or manual entry. It can represent a real card you own, a card you ordered, a card from a decklist, or an entry that still needs cleanup.
Added cards are brewable by default because players often build from imperfect inventories.
Confirmed Cards
A confirmed card has stronger evidence. That evidence might come from scanner review, exact printing information, receipt confirmation, or manual correction. Confirmation matters most when you care about exact printings, finance, sales, trades, or public trust.
Why The Difference Matters
Deck building wants possibility. Financials and public collection claims want evidence. ScryBrew keeps those two needs separate so the app can help you brew without pretending every card entry is perfect.
